Ollie Schniederjans Is An Intriguing Contrarian Selection
6 years agoOllie Schniederjans comes to the Sony Open with high expectations and a new caddie to boot. Damon Green, the longtime caddie for Zach Johnson, has taken over the bag for Schniederjans, and the duo could form an excellent partnership for the 2019 season. Green figures to be a big boost to the former No. 1 ranked amateur in the world, who endured an absolutely brutal 2018 season. Schniederjans enters the week with a bargain price of $6,900 on DraftKings and has found his game to fit Waialae Country Club perfectly in his first two attempts. The 25-year-old finished in a share of seventh place last season and a share of 27th place the year prior. Schniederjans remains a volatile option, but the upside is there for success in Hawaii.
