OG Anunoby Injured On Saturday, X-Rays Negative
19 seconds agoNew York Knicks forward OG Anunoby (foot) exited Saturday's 128-112 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers. He was having a solid outing before suffering a non-contact right-foot injury, amassing 13 points and two blocks in only 17 minutes of action. Head coach Tom Thibodeau stated X-rays were negative. However, Thibs didn't know if Anunoby will receive an MRI. The 27-year-old, who was limited to only 50 games last season between stints with the Raptors and Knicks, has averaged 16.4 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.4 steals. It's unknown if he'll suit up when the Knicks play the Rockets on Monday night. If Anunoby isn't out there, Precious Achiuwa, who had a 15-point, 15-rebound double-double against the Lakers, will likely enter the starting lineup.
