The offensive hero for the Philadelphia Phillies on Monday night during the team’s 11-0 clubbing of the San Francisco Giants was Odubel Herrera. Batting third and starting in center field, he smacked a three-run home run in his first plate appearance, putting the Phillies up three in the opening frame. In the sixth inning, with his team now up by eight, he smacked a second home run, this time a two-run blast that increased the lead to double digits. The five runs driven in for Herrera are a career best in a single game, as he extended his on-base streak to 36 games.--RDelgado
