Odell Beckham Jr. Sore After Opener
6 years agoNew York Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. said he felt "pretty sore" after his first start in Week 1 since breaking his ankle last October. However, OBJ impressed his owners with his 11-catch, 111-yard performance against the Jaguars. All things considered, Beckham's Week 1 performance was very solid with Jags shutdown cornerback Jalen Ramsey covering him. Beckham was lined up in the slot, out wide, in the backfield, in bunch sets inside the hash marks and was even put in motion for more than a few plays. OBJ will get a much easier matchup in Week 2 against the Cowboys beat up secondary on Sunday night. He'll be an elite WR1 for fantasy owners and should be able to score his first touchdown of the season.
