Nyheim Hines' Role Could Be Reduced
6 years agoLast week against the Cincinnati Bengals, Indianapolis Colts rookie Nyheim Hines was the most effective of the three running backs to receive snaps. While he doesn't add much in the way of running, he was an effective pass catcher out of the backfield. Veteran Marlon Mack (hamstring) is expected to return this week, which could cut into Hines' workload. They each possess a similar skill set with their ability to catch the ball and make big plays happen. With Mack healthy, Hines becomes somewhat redundant. Against the Washington Redskins, Wilkins and Mack, if healthy, will be the lead running backs. If Mack is severely limited, Hines could get some increased work, but he won't be doing anything of fantasy relevance until later in the season.
