Norman Powell Bounces Back On Sunday
4 years agoToronto Raptors shooting guard Norman Powell, who had a quiet 15-point outing in Thursday's loss to Boston, regained his rhythm on Sunday against Minnesota, scoring 22 points on 8-for-12 shooting from the field. He went 2-for-3 from downtown and 4-for-5 at the foul line with five rebounds and one assist. Powell is averaging 22 points per game this month, shooting over 50 percent from the field and over 47 percent from deep, which has greatly boosted his fantasy stock, but sadly it won't last for long. OG Anunoby (calf) has returned to practice and could be back in the lineup any day now, and his return will push Powell back to the bench. The Raptors return to action on Tuesday against Milwaukee.
