1 year agoLos Angeles Angels prospect Nolan Schanuel is slashing .347/.467/.490 through his first 13 games with Double-A Rocket City. The 2023 11th overall draft pick is navigating the Angels' minor league system quickly. Schanuel possesses an advanced hitting approach, generating more walks than strikeouts throughout his collegiate career, and his power stroke has developed into an above-average asset. The 21-year-old presently slots in as a first baseman, though an eventual move to the outfield isn't out of the question.
