Philadelphia Flyers center Nolan Patrick scored a goal and added two assists during a 6-5 overtime win against the Detroit Red Wings on Saturday afternoon. He was a plus-three with three shots, two hits, and two blocks in the contest. Patrick has been unable to capture the production that saw him go second overall in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft. He has 12 goals and 11 assists through 51 games after putting up 30 points in 73 games last season. Despite the strong performance, Patrick is hard to justify owning in any format. He does not produce at a high enough rate to warrant fantasy consideration.--Raymond Harrison - RotoBaller

Nolan Patrick wound up with some power-play time on Friday night for the Vegas Golden Knights. Patrick played 63 seconds on the man advantage which is progress. More importantly, the center scored his first goal of the season. Also, the center had five shots on goal, generated three scoring chances, and delivered a couple of hits. Faceoffs were an area of weakness as he went 2-for-10. However, in his 12:56, Patrick along with Nicolas Roy were two bright spots on a bad fantasy hockey night for Vegas Golden Knights players. --Chris Wassel - RotoBallerRead More News
