2 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals second baseman Nolan Gorman knocked two homers on Thursday, helping the 16-8 thumping of the Los Angeles Dodgers. Gorman went 3-for-5 with two runs and three RBI. Notably, the lefty was in the starting lineup tonight against lefty Julio Urias, something the Cardinals haven't done much over Gorman's career. With one of his homers coming off Urias, Gorman may have earned himself more starts against lefties. His 12 homers and 1.015 OPS probably won't hurt either. He was also at third base in this one with Nolan Arenado in the DH spot. It was his fourth start of the season at third, and he could earn eligibility at the position soon on some platforms.
