Nolan Arenado Sitting For Game 2 On Tuesday
2 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals third baseman Nolan Arenado is not in the starting lineup for Game 2 of Tuesday's doubleheader against the Pittsburgh Pirates. Brendan Donovan will be covering the hot corner for the game. Arenado went 0-for-4 in Game 1 of the doubleheader and he's now 0-for-8 across the first two games of the team's current four-game series against the Pirates. The 31-year-old is coming off a strong weekend as he tallied five hits, including his 11th home run of the year, in the team's three-game series against the Cincinnati Reds. The former Rocky is slashing .271/.341/.480 over 60 games on the year. He'll be back in the lineup for the series finale on Wednesday.
