Nolan Arenado Is Already In The Groove
6 years agoColorado Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado looks like he’s already on the right path this year. First, he signed a new mega-deal for $260 million to stay in Colorado until he’s 35-years-old, and now, he’s bashed his third home run of the spring and is hitting .333 during the practice session. Arenado is one of the most dependable players in the game at this point. Arenado’s hit .287 or better with at least 37 home runs and 110 RBI in each of the last four seasons, and he’s posted an OPS north of .930 for three straight years. He’s one of the top studs in the game, and this year should be no different as he continues his climb up the board of Rockies franchise leaders. He’ll likely end this year 4th in franchise history in home runs, 6th in RBI, and 4th in WAR. Not bad at 28 years of age.
