Nolan Arenado Drills 33rd Homer
6 years agoColorado Rockies third baseman Nolan Arenado has fallen a bit out of the spotlight recently as shortstop Trevor Story has burst onto the national scene, but Arenado has still been the backbone of the team's offense. Arenado went 3-for-4 on Wednesday night and hit his 33rd home run of the season. Arenado's bomb gave him at least one RBI in all three games against division-rival Arizona, and he's one of the key reasons why the Rockies are sitting atop the NL West. Hitting .300 with 33 home runs, 99 RBI, 94 runs scored, and Gold Glove-caliber defense, Arenado will be one of the MVP finalists once again, but he'll likely lose out to one of the five-tool players like Story.
