Nolan Arenado Continues Struggles, Goes Hitless Sunday
3 years agoSt. Louis Cardinals third baseman Nolan Arenado extended his recent cold streak on Sunday, as he went 0-for-4 with a strikeout in a 2-1 win over the Giants. Sunday's performance now has Arenado hitting 1-for-18 over his last four games, as he is slashing .217/.266/.367 with two homers, one steal, six RBI and seven runs scored over his last 15 games. Despite the recent slump, Arenado has otherwise had a good first year with St. Louis, as he's hitting .258 with a .795 OPS, 17 homers, 56 RBI and 43 runs scored over 91 games. He'll look to turn things around on Monday in the series opener with the Chicago Cubs.
