3 years agoSeattle Mariners shortstop prospect Noelvi Marte is off to a hot start in 2022, slashing .304/.429/.565 over 23 at-bats. He has two home runs, five RBI, one stolen base and five runs scored on the young season. Marte is the 11th-ranked prospect by MLB Pipeline and the top-ranked Mariners prospect now that outfielder Julio Rodriguez has been promoted to the Mariners. Marte has elite speed and power potential and should be a key component of the Mariners for years to come. The youth movement in the Pacific Northwest is going to keep the Mariners competitive for years, and Marte will be a huge part of it. He should obviously already be rostered in all dynasty formats.
