5 months agoCincinnati Reds infield prospect Noelvi Marte continues to struggle as he works towards his return to the big leagues. Marte went 0-for-4 on Sunday and is now 7-for-49 with two RBI and a stolen base for Triple-A Louisville. Marte has struggled mightily as he is shaking off some of the rust from serving an 80-game suspension for a performance enhancing substance. Marte was expected to return to the Reds when his suspension is over, but that is three days away and the club may elect to see him prove something before handing him a spot on the big-league spot. Marte was a Top-25 prospect last season and can provide both power and speed when he is at the top of his game. With his potential, he is worth rostering in most formats, but expectations should be managed until he can get going.--Daniel Burdeen - RotoBaller
