Noble Meyer Tosses Three Shutout Innings In Single-A Debut
1 year agoMiami Marlins pitching prospect Noble Meyer threw three scoreless innings, striking out four during his first outing with Single-A Jupiter. The 18-year-old was selected 10th overall by the Marlins last month and has quickly ascended their prospect ranks. Meyer already ranks as the organization's top farmhand and the No. 59 prospect in all of baseball, per MLB Pipeline. His 60-grade fastball and 60-grade slider complement each other well, and he possesses all the peripherals of a future ace. Meyer is very young and likely at least two years from breaking through to the majors. Still, his upside is apparent, and Meyer will be a coveted fantasy asset.
