Noah Syndergaard Struggles In Season Debut
6 years agoAlthough he was handed a three-run lead before he ever pitched on Saturday afternoon, New York Mets starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard failed to preserve his lead. After allowing a run in the first, he would surrender three more, allowing four in total across six innings of work. While he struck out seven and walked zero batters, the 26-year-old would secure a no-decision, failing to deliver a quality start. While the Mets offense came around to score seven runs across the final two innings en route to victory, the starter's performance was a disappointing one.
