5 years agoNew York Mets right-hander Noah Syndergaard failed to post a quality start on Friday against the lowly Detroit Tigers. Syndergaard allowed six runs on 10 hits in only 5 1/3 innings of work. He struck out nine. The big righty came into Friday's contest with a plus matchup against a right-handed heavy Tigers lineup but failed to emerge with a win or a productive start. He will carry a disappointing 4.93 ERA into his next start against the Los Angeles Dodgers on the road.--Adam
