Noah Syndergaard Exits Rehab Start With Elbow Soreness
4 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard (elbow) was removed from his rehab start on Tuesday night after one inning due to soreness in his right elbow, the team announced on Twitter. The Mets described the move as precautionary, however given the team's injury issues this year it's not unreasonable to be worried this could be a setback in his recovery from Tommy John surgery. Syndergaard was expected to rejoin the team sometime in June, but now managers will wait to see if his timetable has changed after his early exit. Continue to stash him on your team's IL for now, but keep an eye out for further updates on his condition over the next few days.
