Noah Syndergaard Clocked At 96 MPH
4 years agoNew York Mets starting pitcher Noah Syndergaard (elbow) pitched a side session on Thursday that generated some promising results. His fastball was clocked at 96 mph by the speed gun during the session. Syndergaard underwent Tommy John surgery on March 27, 2020. He is on the 60-day Injured List and the Mets believe he won't be ready for game action until June. Mets manager Luis Rojas is encouraged by his progress, saying that "Everything is going accordingly right now." Syndergaard last pitched in 2019, when he went 10-8 with a 4.28 ERA and 1.23 WHIP while averaging 9.2 K/9. He's a great pitcher to target in the late rounds of all fantasy leagues.
