Noah Schultz Loses Nine-Start Homerless Streak
4 months agoThrough his first 13 starts of the 2024 season (50 2/3 innings), Chicago White Sox starting pitching prospect Noah Schultz had allowed just one home run, coming on April 27 with High-A Winston-Salem. However, in his most recent start with Double-A Birmingham, the young lefty was taken deep twice. In total, he allowed two earned runs on seven hits and a walk, striking out three. Overall, Schultz went nine consecutive starts without giving up a homer. On the season, he has a 3.13 ERA, 0.95 WHIP, and 75:11 K/BB through 54 2/3 innings. As of now, he isn't expected to make his MLB debut for another two years.
