Noah Gragson Will Start 21st In Sunday's Brickyard 400
3 months agoNoah Gragson will start 21st in Sunday's Brickyard 400 from Indianapolis Motor Speedway. Gragson, who turned 26 on July 15th, will look to bounce back from last week's disappointing outing at Pocono, a race in which he finished in last place. Although it is unlikely that he will have the same bad luck he had at the Tricky Triangle one week ago, there is a lot of uncertainty surrounding the Stewart-Haas Racing star as this will be his first Cup start on the oval configuration at this venue. Considering his lack of experience on this setup, which is limited to just one Xfinity start, it was surprising to see that he only did 29 laps in practice, as this would have been a good opportunity for him to get more track time. By comparison, Brad Keselowski, who has 11 oval Cup starts here, did 34 practice laps, while Kyle Larson (six oval Cup starts) got in a session high 40-laps. Given his inexperience here, and that he only finished with the 26th best practice time (50.251), it is recommended that you limit your exposure (max 5%) to the No. 10 in DFS this weekend.
