Noah Gragson Surprisingly The Most Consistent Driver At Talladega
11 months agoPerhaps surprisingly, Noah Gragson had the highest driver rating in Sunday's GEICO 500 at Talladega. Although he had won there in the Xfinity Series and his predecessor, Aric Almirola, was regularly fast on drafting tracks in his entire Stewart-Haas Racing tenure, few people saw Gragson as a top contender. However, he finished third (giving SHR its first top-five finish on the season), led five laps, and made four passes for the lead in the race, including passing Chris Buescher on Lap 96 and Ross Chastain on Lap 132. Gragson tied for first in average running position, tied for second in passes, and ranked fifth in pass differential as he tried to run up front for the entire event while many of the big stars hung in the back for most of the race. Talladega also gave him above-average speed for the season, marking a drastic improvement over his miserable 2023. Gragson finished third in the GEICO 500 and delivered a massive day for DFS players.

Noah Gragson May Pay Off For Tournament DFS Lineups At Homestead
1 week agoNoah Gragson of Front Row Motorsports will start third for the Straight Talk Wireless 400 at Homestead-Miami Speedway. This is Gragson's best starting position of his Cup career at Homestead. In two previous starts at the Miami track, Gragson's best finish is 19th, and he has yet to score a finish with positive Place Differential in the Cup Series at the site. In the Xfinity Series at Homestead, however, Gragson is a previous winner with four top-5 finishes in five starts. In the 2025 Cup season so far, Gragson has one top-10 finish and three finishes with positive PD scored in the first five races. In practice for Sunday's race, Gragson ranked 26th in overall lap averages but displayed top-10 speeds in all other categories. Gragson is best recommended for tournament lineups this week due to his low upside from his starting position, as his practice speeds do indicate that he will likely maintain a top-10 finish.

Noah Gragson Finished Well At Las Vegas Last Year
2 weeks agoAlthough Noah Gragson crashed out last week at Phoenix when he seemed to be the best underdog DFS choice, the hometown native seems to have a little value at Las Vegas since last year he drove from 30th to sixth on a track type where the Stewart-Haas Racing cars usually struggle. However, even though he finished far ahead of his fellow SHR cars, his average running position of 17th suggests he was very lucky and won't repeat that performance. Additionally, he qualified a lot better this time (21st) for a Front Row Motorsports team generally regarded as worse, although his teammate Zane Smith did qualify in the top 10. Gragson probably isn't one of your best options this time, but at $6,900, he's a relatively cheap option who might be suitable to fill a DFS lineup.

Noah Gragson The Most Underrated DFS Option
3 weeks agoNoah Gragson may fade in the background more than any other NASCAR Cup Series driver lately, but his record at Phoenix is really solid as he finished 12th in both events last year and he was actually by far the highest-placed finisher for Stewart-Haas Racing in their final race in last year's finale. Although he qualified only 33rd in his first Phoenix race for Front Row Motorsports, he'll probably have speed because FRM is a Team Penske satellite and Penske has repeatedly gone on all in on Phoenix. Although the TV coverage won't likely pay much attention, expect him to gain a lot of positions in the race. Since he is only valued at $6,800, he's not only a good option for DFS lineups - he's practically a must-have.

Noah Gragson Scores His First Career Road Course Top-10 Finish At COTA
4 weeks agoNoah Gragson ended Sunday's race at Circuit of the Americas, the EchoPark Automotive Grand Prix, in the eighth position. Gragson recorded his finish after spinning earlier on in the event on lap five in the first stage. The No. 4 Ford driver would take the entire race after this spin in order to come to the front half of the field, as Gragson was 33rd at the end of stage one and 31st at the end of stage two. In the final stage, Gragson and the No. 4 team drove through the field and made moves to make it into the top 10. Gragson ran as high as fifth before he ended up in eighth as other racers caught and passed him in the closing laps, scoring his first career road course top-10 in the process.
