Noah Gragson Should Be Better Than Record at Charlotte
6 months agoNoah Gragson has two career NASCAR Cup Series starts at Charlotte Motor Speedway, and neither of them have been that great. He finished 24th in the 2022 race while driving for Kaulig Racing and then wound up 36th last year after an engine issue while racing for Legacy Motor Club. In other words, the bar is pretty low for Gragson this weekend. With that being said, Noah has been a consistent top-10 threat this year, and there's no reason to think he won't do that again on Sunday. Over the last four Cup Series races this year, Gragson has posted top-10 finishes in three of them and has yet to wind up worse than 14th. He also has two top-10 finishes at the low-wear, 1.5-mile tracks this season (sixth at Las Vegas, ninth at Kansas), which bodes well for his performance at Charlotte on Sunday. Gragson qualified 19th for the Coca-Cola 600 and is priced at $7,500 on DraftKings, which makes him hard to fit comfortably into a lineup--but the finishing and Place Differential potential is there for Gragson to be a value play on Sunday.
