Noah Fant Catches 31-Yard Pass In Week 2
1 year agoNoah Fant led the Seattle Seahawks tight ends with four receptions and 56 yards in Week 2 against the Detroit Lions. His first catch of the day went for 31 yards and ended up as the Seahawks' longest play from scrimmage on Sunday. Geno Smith went to him again for a 17-yard strike to start Seattle's game-winning drive in overtime. The Seahawks do not prioritize their tight ends in the passing game, nor do they offer predictable playing time to their group. Fant's production on Sunday was a nice surprise, but he cannot be counted on to turn in even those modest numbers again in Week 3. He can be dropped for more promising options on the waiver wire.
