No Timetable On Jameson Williams' Return
2 years agoDetroit Lions wide receiver Jameson Williams (knee) hasn't played this season. The first-round pick suffered a torn ACL in his final college game and started his NFL career on the reserve/non-football injury list. While the rookie is eligible to come off the list starting this week, head coach Dan Campbell said there is no firm timetable for his return. However, Campbell did say Williams won't return before Detroit's bye in Week 6. Fantasy players with an available IR spot on their roster should add Williams. The former Alabama star was considered one of the top prospects in the 2022 NFL Draft. Furthermore, Jared Goff has the 11th-most pass attempts this season and could turn Williams into a valuable fantasy starter once he returns.
