2 years agoMinnesota Vikings head coach Kevin O'Connell reaffirmed the importance of a new deal for wide receiver Justin Jefferson. However, he's unsure when a new contract could be finalized. "I don't know if I'd put a timeline on it," stated O'Connell during a conversation with Mike Florio of Pro Football Focus. "We'll work through that process here over the rest of this spring on into Summer." Jefferson is coming off an explosive year, finishing 2022-23 with 1,809 yards and eight touchdowns off 128 catches. He also added another score on the run. Without question, the 24-year-old will be the top fantasy selection in many drafts heading into the season.
