2 years agoThere remains no clear timetable for New England Patriots running back James White (hip) to return after undergoing hip surgery, according to a source. It's possible that he remains on the Physically Unable to Perform list to start the regular season, but the team still has several more weeks to evaluate his recovery and decide if he's ready to practice before the end of the preseason. If White starts the season on the PUP, he'd be forced to miss at least four games. The 30-year-old continues to fall on draft boards the longer he remains out, while at the same time Rhamondre Stevenson's fantasy stock continues to rise as a change-of-pace option alongside Damien Harris. Harris is the best fantasy bet, but rookie Pierre Strong Jr. could also be involved, making this backfield more frustrating from a fantasy standpoint.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
