1 year agoWinnipeg Jets winger Nikolaj Ehlers was wearing a non-contact jersey in Thursday's on-ice session with the club's veterans, although head coach Rick Bowness said he expects the winger to play in Monday's exhibition game versus the Calgary Flames. The veteran has been dealing with a sore neck during training camp and it appears the club is merely being cautious at this point in camp. The 27-year-old has dealt with injuries each of the last three seasons but has been productive when healthy, notching 12 goals and 38 points on 132 shots across 45 games a season ago. Bowness also said center Cole Perfetti (upper-body) is expected to play in the club's final two preseason contests along with Ehlers.--Brenton Kemp
