1 year agoWinnipeg Jets left wing Nikolaj Ehlers sat out Friday's practice with neck spasms and isn't expected to work on the ice on Saturday either. It's a bit of a blow for the Danish winger, who was forced to sit out almost half a season with health issues last term, but the good news is that head coach Rick Bowness doesn't expect this to be a lingering issue. Ehlers managed to skate in 45 games last season and hasn't hit over 71 outings since the 2017-18 campaign, so he's been quite injury-prone throughout his career.
