Winnipeg Jets winger Nikolaj Ehlers (foot) is set to re-enter the lineup for Game 6 against the St. Louis Blues on Friday night. He has been out for seven games due to a foot injury. Ehlers' return comes at a great time for the Jets, who will be without Mark Scheifele (undisclosed) on Friday. He will take up a spot on the second line next to Cole Perfetti and Adam Lowry. The Danish forward has previously struggled to perform in the postseason, notching only 14 points (four goals, 10 assists) in 37 career playoff appearances. However, Ehlers matched his career high with 39 assists and ended the regular season with 63 points in 69 games.

Winnipeg Jets winger Nikolaj Ehlers (foot) will not travel with the team to face the St. Louis Blues in back-to-back road games. The two teams will meet in St. Louis on Thursday and Sunday, with the Jets holding a 2-0 lead in the first-round series. The team has coped well with the loss of Ehlers, but the Jets would definitely be stronger with him in the lineup. Due to Ehlers' absence, Nino Niederreiter has landed a second-line role for the start of the postseason. However, the Swiss veteran has been quiet so far, recording two shots on goal with one hit and zero points in two games.

Winnipeg Jets winger Nikolaj Ehlers (foot) is considered week-to-week. The Danish forward aggravated a previous foot injury in Saturday's shootout win against the Chicago Blackhawks. He will sit out a second consecutive game on Wednesday, when Winnipeg concludes its regular season against the Anaheim Ducks, and it's unclear when Ehlers will be ready to help the Jets again. Ehlers notched 63 points (24 goals, 39 assists) in 69 games this season. Nino Niederreiter replaced him on the second line in Sunday's matchup against the Edmonton Oilers, while Gabriel Vilardi (upper body), who has been upgraded to day-to-day, could soon also be an option for the top six.

Winnipeg Jets winger Nikolaj Ehlers (foot) was limited to 9:01 of action in Saturday's 5-4 win over the Chicago Blackhawks. The Danish forward had to be helped off the ice after backing into an official in the second period, re-aggravating a foot injury. Ehlers returned from the injury only a couple of games ago. He was out for two games and could now miss additional time. Winnipeg returns to action on Sunday, facing the Edmonton Oilers on home ice. David Gustafsson figures to rejoin the lineup if Ehlers can't play. At the same time, Jets head coach Scott Arniel would have to shake up his second line.
