Nikola Vucevic, Lauri Markkanen Questionable For Saturday
4 years agoChicago Bulls center Nikola Vucevic (adductor) and power forward Lauri Markkanen (illness) both have their statuses up in the air for Saturday's game versus Atlanta. Vucevic is the rare player in the league to have not missed a single contest this season, with Daniel Theis and Thaddeus Young looming for added minutes should the Bulls' star miss the outing. Both Theis and Young would already be in line for an increased workload should Markkanen miss his second straight game. Once viewed as an integral member of Chicago's young core, Markkanen has seen his production steeply decline since coming off the bench, averaging just 9.9 points across 21.4 minutes per game. Check back prior to tip-off to get the final word on both Vucevic and Markkanen.

Nikola Vucevic Tagged As Doubtful For Saturday
2 weeks agoChicago Bulls center Nikola Vucevic (calf) is listed as doubtful ahead of Saturday's game against the Miami Heat. Vucevic has missed six games in a row and appears to be headed towards a seventh absence. This is a shame because Vucevic was having an excellent season up to this point, but can't seem to shake this calf strain. Zach Collins and Matas Buzelis should both continue seeing increased roles while Vucevic is sidelined. Buzelis has played nearly 30 minutes in each of the last three games and is producing decent streaming value right now.

Nikola Vucevic Doubtful To Face Magic
2 weeks agoChicago Bulls center Nikola Vucevic (calf) is considered doubtful for Thursday's tilt against the Orlando Magic. He may miss a meeting with his former team due to a right calf strain, which sidelined Vucevic last week. So far, he has sat out five games, and the doubtful tag suggests that Vucevic has not fully recovered and will remain out on Thursday. Zach Collins should continue to roll as the starting center against Orlando. Since stepping into the first unit, he has averaged 18.2 points, 10.4 rebounds, 3.4 assists, and 1.4 steals.

Nikola Vucevic Hopes To Return To Action This Week
3 weeks agoChicago Bulls center Nikola Vucevic (calf) is approaching his return to the lineup.
