5 years agoDetroit Tigers infielder Niko Goodrum (groin) was diagnosed with an adductor strain after visiting with core muscle specialist Dr. William Meyers, and he's expected to be out 10 to 14 days, according to manager Ron Gardenhire. That pretty much guarantees that Goodrum will no longer be of use in single-year fantasy formats the rest of the way. Ronny Rodriguez and Gordon Beckham should split time at the keystone until Goodrum can return, but neither player is very attractive outside of deep AL-only formats.--Keith Hernandez - RotoBaller
