Niko Goodrum Crushes 15th Home Run
6 years agoDetroit Tigers second baseman Niko Goodrum hit his 15th homer of the season on Friday night as the Tigers lost to the Yankees 7-5. Goodrum's blast came in the fourth inning off of Yankees starter Luis Severino, and he also drew a walk as part of his 1-for-3 day at the plate. In Goodrum's last seven games he's hitting .308/.357/.538 with two home runs, two RBI, three runs scored, and a stolen base. For the season overall, Goodrum is hitting .233/.305/.432 with 15 home runs, 43 RBI, 46 runs scored, and 10 stolen bases. He is viable in deep fantasy formats and positive streaming matchups due to the shallow nature of the second base position.
