6 years agoDetroit Tigers second baseman Niko Goodrum hit his 15th homer of the season on Friday night as the Tigers lost to the Yankees 7-5. Goodrum's blast came in the fourth inning off of Yankees starter Luis Severino, and he also drew a walk as part of his 1-for-3 day at the plate. In Goodrum's last seven games he's hitting .308/.357/.538 with two home runs, two RBI, three runs scored, and a stolen base. For the season overall, Goodrum is hitting .233/.305/.432 with 15 home runs, 43 RBI, 46 runs scored, and 10 stolen bases.
