Nicolas Claxton Still Out On Wednesday
1 year agoBrooklyn Nets center Nicolas Claxton (ankle) is out ahead of Wednesday's meeting with the Heat. The 24-year-old appeared in the Nets' opener against the Cleveland Cavaliers, accruing seven points, seven rebounds, and three blocks. Unfortunately, he's been sidelined since due to a sprained ankle, and there's a chance he may miss more games moving forward, including Friday's matchup with the Bulls and Saturday's clash with the Celtics. As a result, Ben Simmons, averaging 10.0 boards, 8.3 points, 8.3 assists, and 1.3 blocks, will likely remain at the five. Day'Ron Sharpe, who nearly had a double-double on Monday night against Charlotte, should see enough minutes to consider utilizing in deep fantasy setups. Sharpe will also gain attention from DFS managers, especially those looking for a value opportunity.
