1 year agoBrooklyn Nets center Nicolas Claxton (ankle) was originally listed as probable earlier Sunday afternoon, then was downgraded to questionable, then again to out in the matter of 20 minutes. Head coach Jacque Vaughn said that the ankle he hurt was the same one that kept him out for a string of games earlier this season and they tested it during shootaround and warmups. It seems like it wasn't comfortable to give it a shot, so the Nets will probably go with a smaller starting five with Royce O'Neale.
