Washington Capitals winger Nicolas Aube-Kubel has been suspended for three games following his actions in Friday's meeting with Tampa Bay. Aube-Kubel delivered Tampa Bay's Cal Foote a check to the head early in the second period, earning himself an ejection and a match penalty, which prompted an automatic suspension. The Frenchman won't be able to return to action before next Saturday's clash with Colorado, and his three-game suspension includes a rematch with Tampa Bay. Aube-Kubel, who played against the Lightning with the Avalanche in last season's Stanley Cup Finals, has been with Washington for only a week after getting waived by Toronto.--Taavi Pailk - RotoBaller
