Nico Collins “Has A Chance To Contribute Right Away”
3 years agoHouston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins has a "chance to contribute right away," per Aaron Reiss of The Athletic. He missed the second preseason game due to a "minor muscle pull." The 22-year-old started and caught two passes for 16 yards and a touchdown in the preseason finale against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. The Texans cut Keke Coutee, and Anthony Miller (shoulder) isn't expected to play in Week 1, leaving a starting wide receiver spot alongside Brandin Cooks opened. Collins won't be a consistent producer with all the questions regarding star quarterback Deshaun Watson's availability this season. Fantasy managers in deep-league formats can take a flier on Collins and hope he has a vital role in the Texans' offense in 2021.
