Nico Collins Could Be A Factor In The Red Zone Sunday
3 years agoHouston Texans wide receiver Nico Collins will make his NFL debut in Week 1 against the Jaguars. At 6 feet, 4 inches tall, and 215 pounds, Collins gives the Texans a physical presence on the outside that they've lacked since the departure of DeAndre Hopkins. The Michigan product led the Big Ten in yards per reception during his final college season, totaling 37 catches for 729 yards and seven scores. It's unclear how much playing time Collins will see for the Texans in Week 1, though the matchup is certainly a good one against a Jaguars defense that allowed opposing receivers to rack up 11.7 yards per reception last season, which ranked 27th in the league. Collins isn't someone to count on in redraft formats but could be a sneaky DFS play on Sunday's slate.
