Nick Delmonico Leaves Game With Quad Injury
7 years agoChicago White Sox outfielder Nick Delmonico left Wednesday's game with a bruised right quadriceps. Delmonico was injured when he collided with Pittsburgh Pirates first baseman Josh Bell rounding first base. He is considered day-to-day. The left-handed hitting 25-year-old was 1-for-2 before leaving the game. Jose Rondon entered the game to play second base as Leury Garcia moved to left field. Delmonico is not worth owning outside of the very deepest of on-base percentage leagues.
