Nick Suzuki Ends Dry Spell With Four-Point Effort
1 month agoMontreal Canadiens center Nick Suzuki amassed four points in Monday's high-scoring 7-5 victory over Buffalo. The Canadiens captain kicked things off with a power-play assist in the second period, added two even-strength goals to his name before the second intermission, and wrapped things up with another assist on Christian Dvorak's empty-net goal late in the game. The big performance ended a four-game scoring drought for Suzuki. He's had a difficult time this month, but Suzuki's overall form has been solid in 2024-25. He's on 17 points (six goals, 11 assists) through 16 outings, having posted six multi-point games. Montreal will need another top-class performance from its leading scorer in Thursday's tough matchup against Minnesota.
