Nick Senzel Wrapping Up Rehab
2 years agoCincinnati Reds outfielder Nick Senzel (toe) will miss the first couple of Spring Training games. He continues to make progress and should be ready to go by Opening Day. The 27-year-old underwent toe surgery at the end of last season and expects to be 100% in 2023. Senzel had a freak season where he suffered several injuries and played in just 110 games. He slashed .231/.296/.306 while hitting five homers with a .601 OPS. The Reds hope to get Senzel back on track as he enters his fifth season in the pros. It would certainly help to get him healthy, but maybe we'll see an offensive breakout. Although his bat is a minor contributor, it's doubtful he'll make a notable fantasy impact, and he is mainly a flier in deep-league formats in 2023.
