Nick Senzel To Begin Rehab Assignment Friday
3 years agoCincinnati Reds outfielder Nick Senzel (knee) is scheduled to play in his first rehab game Friday for Triple-A Louisville, according to Bobby Nightengale of the Cincinnati Enquirer. The 26-year-old underwent arthroscopic on his left knee in late May and is on track for a return in early August, barring any setbacks during his rehab assignment. The former #2 overall pick is also expected to get reps in the outfield and shortstop, increasing his flexibility to stay in the lineup for the Reds and fantasy managers. Senzel makes for an interesting add in deep mixed leagues with his power-speed profile. Before going on the shelf, Senzel was hitting .252/.323/.315 with a homer, eight RBI, and two steals in 111 at-bats.
