8 months agoPhiladelphia Flyers defenseman Nick Seeler (lower body) will be back in the lineup when his team takes on the visiting Chicago Blackhawks. The blue-liner has missed the past 11 games with a lower-body injury after blocking a shot off his ankle in a contest against the St. Louis Blues on March 4. At the time of his injury, Seeler was leading the NHL with 184 blocked shots. He now sits fourth. "I just think getting back to my game as quickly as I can is probably the best thing for me, and that includes blocking shots," Seeler said. "But just playing simple and playing my game and hopefully can get back to that tonight." The defensive-minded Seeler has one goal and 12 points while adding 112 hits in 63 games this season.--Brenton Kemp
