Nick Schmaltz Ends Scoring Drought On Saturday
1 month agoUtah Hockey Club right wing Nick Schmaltz found the back of the net twice during Saturday's victory over the Utah Hockey Club. Schmaltz's first tally was in the opening frame off a wrist shot. Later in the second, the 28-year-old tallied a power-play goal to extend their lead. In addition, he also logged five shots on goal. These were Schmaltz's first two tallies of the campaign. Entering this game, he had registered just 17 helpers across 23 contests. Despite him just ending his scoring drought on Saturday, fantasy managers should continue to view him as a steady fantasy producer, given his role in the Utah top-6 and No.1 power-play unit. Schmaltz will look to stay hot on Monday when he faces the Dallas Stars.
