Additionally, he struck out seven, tossing 107 pitches and leaving with a one-run lead. In the bottom of the seventh, however, his offense added two runs, making this a three-run lead that the bullpen managed to see to the end. The victory improved Pivetta’s record to 4-2, while his ERA now stands at a worthy 3.23. The Phillies now find themselves just half a game out of first place behind Atlanta.
