Nick Hardy Looks To Find Consistency On The Greens In Bermuda
1 month agoGetting the game all together has been the main struggle for Nick Hardy all year. The 28-year-old has been crushing it in almost every strokes gained metric, evident by only four missed cuts over his last 14 starts. However, putting has debilitatingly kept him from having many high finishes in that time. Of the 13 events in this span that we have stats for, Hardy has only gained strokes on the greens in two starts at an average of -0.66. His upside comes with his ball striking, as he is 5th in the field in strokes gained approach over his last 24 competitive rounds (averaging +0.65). Luckily, putting tends to come and go more than anything else in a player's game, and, given the high level of play coming with his irons, the former Fighting Illini golfer should warrant considerable interest this week.
