The New England Patriots are trading veteran kicker Nick Folk to the Tennessee Titans in exchange for a 2025 seventh-round pick, according to Tom Pelissero of NFL Network. Folk lost the preseason battle for the New England kicker job to rookie fourth-round pick Chad Ryland but quickly finds a new home. The Titans released Michael Badgley after a brief stint with the team, so it looks like Folk is locked in to handle placekicking duties in 2023. Folk has been in the NFL since 2007 and the 38-year-old made 32 of his 37 field goal attempts and 32 of 35 extra point attempts last season.
