Nick Foles Revises His Contract With the Eagles
7 years agoPhiladelphia Eagles quarterback and Super Bowl MVP Nick Foles reached an agreement with the team on a revised contract that includes a mutual option for the 2019 season. He will receive a $2 million signing bonus, and could still become a free agent after the 2018 season if he chooses. This seems like the Eagles' way to make good for taking the Super Bowl MVP and turning him back into a backup the next season. Foles was the subject of some trade rumors early in the offseason, but he'll stick around as Carson Wentz's backup at least for one more season.
