Nick Foles Carted Off With Injury Monday Night
4 years agoChicago Bears quarterback Nick Foles was knocked out of the team's Week 10 game against the Vikings on Monday night with what looked like a shoulder injury with time running out in the fourth quarter. He was taken off on a cart after being slammed hard to the turf. We won't know the seriousness of his injury until he undergoes some tests, but the good news is that Chicago will be on bye in Week 11, so Foles will have some extra time to heal before their Week 12 meeting with the division-rival Packers. Tyler Bray entered the game with less than 20 seconds remaining after Foles was injured. Mitchell Trubisky is dealing with a shoulder injury of his own, and there's no guarantee he'll be ready if Foles' injury keeps him out for multiple weeks. It's more bad news for a floundering Bears offense. Foles was 15-for-26 for only 106 yards and an interception before leaving. Update: head coach Matt Nagy said after the game that Foles suffered a hip or leg injury.
